Though a new House of Hoops just opened up at the Beverly Center Mall in Los Angeles, Nike is nothing less than motivated to expand this basketball shopping center. In November you can expect to see a new House of Hoops opening up in the area of Chicago. Consider this just another way for Nike and Footlocker to get to the public. Expect to see limited player exclusive releases along with much more special releases. Info courtesy of Footlocker.

The Adidas Micropacer was first released in 1984 during the L.A. Olympics. It featured a small pocket on the right shoe for your keys, along with some innovative on-board technology. The shoe was different because it calculated a runners speed, distance and calorific output. It did this by a sensor located in the toe connected to a microprocessor placed into the tongue of the left shoe. The shoe was not a great seller since its price was over $100 and its clock was effective only to 2009. Not surprisingly Adidas has released this Micropacer model in its original color in an attempt to revive this classic trainers spirit.
The Micropacer was re-released in 2000 but only 600 pairs were available. This 2008 retro is aimed more for Adidas enthusiasts rather than runners. Since the shoe was never sold on a large scale it is quite difficult to get your hands on one, thus prices are higher than most collectors would pay. The Micropacer is available now at Overkill for a price of $342. Yes that is high, but thats why we mentioned that the shoe was targeted towards collectors. Check out more pictures below.

To continue their Air Force One (1) Fusion Series Jumpman will be releasing this pair of Air Force One X Air Jordan IX (9). The AJF 9 will be releasing next year in April along with the Air Jordan Fusion VI (6). Unlike the Infrared color scheme of the 6’s, this pair of Fusion 9’s features a red/white colorway. Though this is illustration we are still able to draw out what is expected from the shoe, and we can say that the shoe isn’t as bad as some previous Fusions. Some changes include a jumpman logo on the heel (as opposed to the stitched ‘23′), a removed jumpman logo on the sole ( replaced by ‘air’), and an obvious change in the sole of the shoe. Nonetheless this shoe is expected to release next year along with some other Fusions. Info courtesy of vagant.

Each of these six pairs along with many more will be available sometime in the spring of next year. Since they will be a women’s release don’t expect them to be available in large sizes. Like we were saying in the Air Max Hiking Boot post, Nike’s boots are usually preferred over many other brands, especially when your talking about the Goadome model. Seen here is a special twist which has been done to the Nike Goadome Boot, its side panel has been replaced with the primary structure of the ‘penny’ Foamposites. Named the Foamdome, this boot features more visible Air units than the Doadome, and now ill incorporate carbon fiber just like the ‘Pennies’ did. This boot is expected to release sometime in November for a retail of $225. This price tag is a bit too high but the Foamposite theme will surely sell the shoe.
