Here we have a the “cockroach” contest put together by LFSTL x New Balance 577. In order to enter the contest all you need is to know the address of the Lijfstijl shop and to hand is something original like a painting or a picture. The great part is that you are not limited on your creativity of what you can submit, but your entry must be something along the lines of a drawing, painting, tag or design. The winner of the contest will receive some “cockroach” gear along and have their submission posted on the LEYP forum for the world to see. For specific guidelines or more info you can check with Leyp. As you can see above this is what the grand prize includes;

Different use of fabrics is what sometimes separates many sneaker companies from their rivals. What you see here is a pair of Nike Air Max 1 which got a plaid makeover. As you can see the sneaker features a total of three different plaid styles along with a solid black mudguard and a swoosh logo. Along with its Air Sole Unit, this shoe is not only comfortable but it combines both quality and style. They haven’t released yet, but you can check with your local retailers on their availability. Fresh and clean is exactly what this pair of Nike Dunk Lo Premiums project. Since we are nearing the winter season, Nike has unveiled for us this pair of “sled dog” dunk lows. Inspired by the pure flaky season, the dunks are are entirely white with the exception of a light khaki swoosh logo. Since winter is right around the corner, these sneakers were released early in preparation of the upcoming cold weather. They are available now at select retailers. Check out more angles below.

With the Halloween season just around the corner, we can already see two pairs of sneakers ready to be released for this spectacular and scary holiday. Last week we previewed you with a Nike’s GS Halloween Dunks, and today we are happy to present you with Vans’ Halloween Pack. Unlike Nike’s Dunks, this Vans pack will be available in a full size run, meaning that just about anyone will be able to find a pair in their size. Both pairs are orange/black/white and feature a pumpkin somewhere on the shoe. They will be available in many Vans retailers soon.

Once again Nike has put in something special for the ladies. Seen here are is a pair of Dunk High’s made specially for people with little feet (grade school sizes). They feature a sail/brown/pink color schem. They don’t seem to feature anything out of the ordinary, but they do have a very fruitful colorway which will look great on most females. Though many people seem to admire Nike’s Blazers not everyone might be accustomed for what is about to come. Seen here are a pair of blazer hi’s which feature a wooden themed design. As you can see they have an all black upper along with a wooden inspired sole and some wood-like patterns on the toe. They also feature a white swoosh logo with a red stitching running across it. No questions asked, Kobe is one of Nike’s best signed athletes. He is also without a doubt one of best contributors to the Nike company. To pay some respect to his commitment, Nike will be releasing these “Kobe Making History ” Nike Hyperdunks at the House of Hoops on November 1st. They feature a laser-like pattern on the toe, a translucent sole, and a Laker inspired colorway. On the release date of the “Kobe Making History” Hyperdunks you can also expect to she the Ronaldinho Hyperdunks release. Both sneakers were created to honor Kobe’s greatest achievements throughout his career. We recently revealed to you Nike’s 2009 Footwear Line, and part of this line was the Nike Zoom Kobe I. As you can see the shoe is expect to release in at least six different color schemes. They are lo-cut and each features Kobe’s signature on the heel tab. There is no info yet on a hi-cut pair but you can check back for more info. Expect them to release sometime early in 2009.

Greedy Genuis will be releasing this white pair sneakers called the Cool Breeze Avalanche. As you can see the sneaker is clean and simple. They have a simple black/white color scheme which means they can be worn with pretty much anything. They are hi-tops and seem to offer a lot of ankle support. On its heel you can see a black.white star-like pattern. The shoe is expected to release on October 1st at many Greedy Genius retailers. Info courtesy of HB.

Nike has a substantial amount of footwear planned to release in 2009. From what we can see so far, Nike is expected to fulfill everyones demands with their 2009 lineup. Though we have a lot more time in the 2008 year, Nike has already unveiled us with over forty of their new shoes coming out. Expect to see the return of classics models such as the Ken Giffey Max 1, Nike Cortez, Nike Dunk (lo and hi) and much more. Also get ready for new models like the Nike’s Fun Police Zoom FP, and Hypermax. Nonetheless you will also see new Kobe and LeBron models release. Sneakers like the Air Max 90, Nike Cortez and Huarache LE will be releasing in more than one colorway. Speaking of colors, Nike seems to keep 2009 very bright by staying away from the dark and dull colors. Check out all 46 pairs below.
