Nike Air Raid- Olive Drab House of Hoops Release

Nike Air Raid- Olive Drab House of Hoops Release

Ever since the House Of Hoops teamed up with Nike many different exclusive sneakers have been released. This time they will be releasing an olive colored pair of Nike Air Raids. As you probably already know, the Air Raid was intended for outdoor use only. They were made with tougher material than your average basketball sneaker, but the downfall is that they weigh slightly more. Though this might affect your performance, you can expect the shoes to provide you with the utmost support. They are available exclusively at the House Of Hoops in Harlem.

Nike Air Flight Lite High - Red/White

Seen here is the red/black/white colorway of the Nike Air Flight Lite High. These shoes go way back to the time when Scottie Pippen played on th Chicago Bulls. Just like many of the basketball sneakers Nike has released this year, this one is probably the most anticipated of them all. The shoe features an extremely hi-cut ankle design, a icy gum sole, large ventilation holes on the side panels, and a classical design. They are perfect for playing a game with your buddies or just for casual wear. A release date hasn’t yet been provided but you can expect the shoe to release soon if not now. Info courtesy of SF.

Nike Zoom LeBron - The Ambassador

Nike Zoom LeBron - The Ambassador

The sneakers you see here are “The Ambassador” Nike Zoom LeBrons. They are a lo-cut basketball sneaker featuring Nike’s Zoom Air Technology which provides for a better performance basketball sneaker. So far we can confirm the sneakers release in four colorways, a navy blue/white pair along with a black/white pair, all black pair and a red/white pair. Each color scheme is slightly different from the other, for example the blue/white pair features a laser like pattern on the midsole unlike all the other pairs which simply have a plain white midsole. Each sneaker has the LeBron logo on the heel, a quilted box pattern on the side, a mesh tongue and “Zoom” printed onto its sole. At the moment a release date has not yet been confirmed, but you can check out the colorways confirmed for release after the jump. Info courtesy of Niketalk.

Nike Huarache 08 - Available on Nike ID

Nike Huarache 08 - Available on Nike ID

The Nike Huarache has gone a long way, all the way into 2008 to be exact. The 08 Huarache’s released earlier this year in a limited verity of colors. Fortunately enough, Nike took it into consideration that since this is a basketball sneaker many might want to have it in their schools/teams colorways. Thus Nike made the Huarache 08 BBall available on their ID site. You can now customize the the Huarache to fit your style and needs. You can customize color of many different part of the shoe, and you can even add a mascot or a logo to the tongue of the shoe. Nike also give you the opportunity to change certain parts of the sneaker from either a patent leather material to a carbon like finish. Ultimately the shoe takes about 10 minutes to make and 4 weeks to deliver. They cost $135 to customize at the Nike ID studio. The picture above shows one we personally made with our own color choices and text on the tongue, let us know what you think.

Nike Hyperdunk - Kobe’s Ronaldinho Pair

Nike Hyperdunk - Kobes Ronaldinho Pair

Its great to see many of todays most athletic sportsmen admit to obtaining their inspiration from another sport. What you see here is a pair of Nike Hyperdunks which were inspired by Ronaldo de Assis Moreira who was Kobe Bryant’s favorite soccer player. To display Kobe’s love for this player,Nike has put together this “Ronaldinho” Nike Hyperdunks to pay tribute to the soccer players great achievements. The shoe is multicolored (blue/maroon/black/Yellow) featuring some sparkled patterns and some patent leather. It also has what looks like a logo combining a soccer net, huarache symbol, and the number 24 on the tongue. To bring some business to the new House of Hoops in Orlando Florida, this pair of Hyperdunks will be releasing in limited numbers only at that location. They are scheduled to release sometime later this year. Info courtesy of Promo-Shoes.

Nike Zoom Fun Police - Picture Update

Nike Zoom Fun Police - Picture Update

We recently showed you the catalog pictures of the Nike Zoom Fun Police, and now we are happy to update you with the real thing. As you can see the sneaker features a heavy leather design along with a classic basketball sole. Nike’s Fun Police model is a hybrid sneaker which was inspired by the Jason Kidd Nike Zoom Flight V, Kevin Garnett Nike KGIII and the Tim Hardaway Nike T-Bug. A weird mix one might say, but to some the shoe is a piece of historic art. Alongside this colorway will be an Orlando colorway. The shoes are expected to hit retail stores sometime around the Summer of 2009 for a reasonable retail price. Info courtesy of NT.
