New Balance’s 20th Anniversary is in 2008, and one way they will add to this event is to release two metallic colorways of their New Balance 576 model. We first informed you about this Metallic pack back in February, and now we are happy to update you with its release date. This model was originally called the 675, but then the New Balance company decided to change it to 576 with the intention of selling more pairs. This was due to the fact that the 675 name wasn’t making too much profit for the company. But now the company having its “platinum anniversary” and they have released both these pairs of exceptionally solid colorways. New balance will be teaming up with Provider, and Australian streetwear company to produce a new line of 1500 trainer models. These sneakers will come in a blue/black/gray/white color-way and will have “Made In England” stitched largely onto the tongue. They will be released in-store only on May 3rd in one lucky boutique in Europe. The store of choice was Solebox. Unfortunately enough, you probably will not be able to purchase a pair unless you live in the New England area and are up early to purchase a pair due to its limited quantities. Via Hypebeast.

When you hear the word Pigeon you might think of the well known Pigeon SB low or the P-Rod Pigeon’s or even the Pigeon inspired socks, but now when you hear the word Pigeon you could add a pair of New Balances to your image. Thats right, New Balance has teamed up with Staple Design to create a pigeon colored New Balance 575. Staple Design was the same company which created the color-way for the Pigeon dunks, and now they have decided to put their focus on a new sneaker brand. This New Balance pigeon 575 will probably be releasing some time this year so be sure to check up with us for more updates.

In a month there will be a New Balance sneaker released which will pay tribute to the companies many years of success. The New Balance “Chicken Run” 1400 were inspired by the determination of the founder of New Balance, William J Riley. He was dedicated to create a brand which was more comfortable, and hoped that he will change the way that people see and wear footwear. One of his inspirations came from the balance of a chicken in a yard. He hoped to create a shoe with great balance just like a claw of a chicken, thats how the New Balance brand was created. On April 1st New Balance will pay respect to their founder by releasing a pair of New Balance 1400 called “Chicken Run” which will be sole at premier New Balance retailers for $150.

Stussy, Hectic, and New Balance have teamed up yet again to come up with another sneaker. This time its not the MT580 like always, but rather the CM670.The sneaker will be quite simple in color but have some detail in the insole. There will be two color-ways available in both Stussy stores and at Realman Hectic stores on February 23rd for 16,590 Yen ($154). Via Hypebeast

The New Balance 577 is a later model of the 576 which uses basic leather instead of suede. Now New Balance and a Singapore based sneaker boutique Limited Edt have teamed up to make the “Vault” which are set to release March first and are limited to a mere 140 pairs. The color-way of the shoe was inspired by the interior of the boutique. The shoe comes in a metal case with a a combination lock. Via Nicekicks.

A 20th anniversary doesn’t come around every so often, New Balance has decided to celebrate theirs in style. The New Balance 576 come out sometime this February which mark the companies 20th year in service. A total of four pairs will be coming out, two featuring a metallic color-way and the other two having mesh toe boxes. No exact release date is available as of now but you can check with your local New Balance retailer for details on when they will receive the sneaker. Via hb.
