The Nike Air Rifts were created in 1996 for the Kenyan running team. Aside from that, Nike took inspiration for its split-toe from the Japanese Ninjas. That explains why Nike teamed up with a Japanese Women’s fashion brand called Milkfed to bring back this lightweight sneaker. The sneaker is seen for the first time in this sparkled color-way, but the design of the sneaker was pretty much kept the same. They will be available in womens sizes on June 2 at Essense.

Watch it here, the new Kobe Bryant Hyperdunk sneaker gets tested. What you see is Kobe Bryant standing next to an LA Laker player (Ronny Turiaf) while attempting to jump over an Aston Martin. We aren’t certain if this is Kobe doing the jumping or a stunt double, but either way its a nice clip. Via

Nike’s Cortez model was created by the teamwork of Nike, Blue Ribbon Sports and a Japanese firm named Onitsuka Tiger. Bill Bowerman, the co-founder of Nike said that he had developed the Cortez by taking apart two pairs of the Onitsuka Tigers. Ever since then the Cortez became famous especially in the L.A. district. The Cortez model has been brought back in several color-ways, and now Nike has decided to bring back 4 additional color-ways. If you visit Finishline you can expect to see a Green/Blue/White, a Vivid Blue/Black/White, a Anthracite/Pilgrim/White, and a Varsity Red / Deep Garnet color-way. Each pair is selling for $80 now at Finishline.

The Nike Vandal Supreme was first released in 1987. Its very unusual of Nike to release a dark color of the Vandal Supreme because all the previous releases were always bright and used heavy canvas colors. Nike will once again release another pair of Vandal Supremes in a n all black color-way. This pair will be one of many which Nike is expected to release in 2008. They will release in May, only at Nike retailers who have Tier-Zero accounts. Keep your heads up for this release.
